Kevin Figsby

Kevin Figsby spent 15 years as the Head Coach at Concordia University and was President of Canadian University Men’s Hockey before moving on to become the Director of Program Delivery for Hockey Canada. The former pilot of the famed Lac St. Louis Lions of the Quebec Midget AAA league completed his NCCP Level IV Certification and earned the prestigious designation of Master Coach. Figsby possesses the Certified Mentor Coach and Aboriginal Athlete Development certificates from the Coaches Association of Canada, as well as International Coach Certification from the Canadian Center for Ethics in Sport. As well as being a Guest Presenter, Guest Speaker and Group Leader at Hockey Canada High Performance events, he was also a member of the Canadian Development Model Committee. His

successful Team Canada International Coaching experiences include, World Under 17 Championships, World University Games and the World Sledge Hockey Championships. Figsby has also been a Guest Coach with the Montreal Canadiens and with Canada’s National Team. Prior to his professional career in coaching and sport administration, he was a successful Leader in the Financial Services Industry. Kevin is

a dedicated family man and community volunteer. His philanthropic commitments are centered around supporting children in sport and encouraging the pursuit of achieving one dreams through education.
