Matthew Bourgeois

Matthew has been a coach and a scout for over 20 years at some of the highest levels. On the female side Matthew was assistant coach with the Chinese National Women’s Team at 2 World Championships and an Olympic Qualifier in France. Matthew was the recruiting coordinator with the University of New Brunswick and goalie coach with Ontario Tech University. Matthew is a Hockey Canada certified High Performance 1 Coach and is a goaltending development lead with the Ontario Hockey Federation, the Ontario Minor Hockey Association as well as the Northern Ontario Minor Hockey Association. Matthew’s passion lies in player development and guiding players to become the best version of themselves. Matthew has also worked as a scout and an advisor for over 10 years helping players get placed on teams in the NAHL, NCAA and Pro. Matthew has lived in Clarington his whole life and is looking forward to working with the Flames Coaches, Parents and Players.
